Thx. Muchly.Sounds good. Nice T-bird!!
Nice sounding Ibby jazz box your lead player has there GP! Also, in Mack the Knife, you clearly show us good left-hand technique keeping the groove going while taking a swig with your right. Must have been not a Friday, but a Thirsty night!

I have the 500c with a 1x15 cabinet. The 1x15 adds some missing bottom to the 2x10.Hi, rumblers. Has any of you compared a 500c + 210 cab rig to a 500c + 115 cab rig? What do you gain? What do you loose? Theoretically it shouldn't be much difference, maybe (cone area pushing air and so forth), but I would really like to hear from those of you that have tried both combinations. Thanks!
Wondering if the 1x12 cabinet (used obviously) is a good complement to the 500c 2x10s?
I have the 500c with a 1x15 cabinet. The 1x15 adds some missing bottom to the 2x10.
I notice it on songs in drop d tuning (I don't currently have a 5 string). I imagine it would be even more noticeable with a low B.
I have not tried a 210 cab with the 500c but I have owned a 500c with the 2x10’s since 2014. ... ...
... ... I added the 115 extension cab in 2015. I am very satisfied. The 115 cab with the 500c provides plenty of headroom. ... ...
... ... The 500c is 37 pounds and the 115 cab about 20 pounds so the pair are not difficult to transport. The pair came to less than $800 in 2015, which is much less than a boutique amp and cab (s) I picked up a used Rumble 200 head on Reverb recently. The 200 head with the 115 cab are sufficient for my current band because the guitar player is pretty reasonable.
Good luck with your decision!

I've also owned my R500c since 2014 and didn't realize it was out of warranty until I'd had it about 5-1/2 years. Been solid as a rock the whole time.

I tried my R500c with my Bassman 115 neo and it sure is da bomb. But I have so little call for such explosives that I hardly ever do that anymore. But, if I have to, I'm loaded and ready!
.
??? Mack, you're the second one today to make that mistake!?! The Rumble 115 is 39 pounds, just like the 210 cab. (It's theorized that the 2 side handles weigh more than the amp head.)
But, yeah, I just couldn't believe the R500c was only $1/watt in 2014, and I ordered it expecting to be disappointed. Well, I was simply shocked! Shocked, I tell you!
Congrats on your R200h & 115 stack, Macca. I believe I've read of one such rig where the owner claims it has a bit deeper response than the R200c, due to the bigger cabinet.![]()

Welcome to the club! Was told to head over here from my NAD post. Got a Rumble 200 for $315 shipped off of Reverb, which I thought was a steal. I was a bit hesitant because the dude only included four pics, but Reverb's return policy is pretty swell, so I jumped on it!
It has a loose input jack (that the seller disclosed), which has been annoying but not unbearable. I'll probably bring it down with me next time I visit my parents and replace it with a Switchcraft jack (my dad has the right tools for the job, I do not). Really digging the sound of it, and was wondering what settings y'all were favoring. I'm hopefully going to invest in some pedals soon, so stoked for that as well.

A 15 is still a Rumble. You're not moving a great deal of air but you're making some music. With a tube screamer or something, you could probably use it for a guitar amp.Thank you, friend! Like most bassists of a certain age, my first amp was actually a Rumble 15, but never thought it was worthy of sharing here. Liking this new (and bigger) one A LOT more. I feel like an adult now.

And me? I'm waiting for my second childhood!Thank you, friend! Like most bassists of a certain age, my first amp was actually a Rumble 15, but never thought it was worthy of sharing here. Liking this new (and bigger) one A LOT more. I feel like an adult now.
