I’ve been using a Rumble 100 and a 500 (depending on the gig), and never knew there was club! My brothers and sisters in the Thunderbird Club told me about it, after I posed some EQ questions.

I'm blushing at your naked Rumble! Very risqué. Is that the 12" Rumble 100? It looks bigger, somehow.
Sure it's not a 15" Rumble 200? And those Epiphone basses are to die for! A venerable T and what color is that Jack!?! It looks too light to be be LPB. Or is it just the lighting? Lovely to look at and, no doubt, to hear. Not is the time when we . . . . Rumble On!

That Jack Casady is indeed Pelham Blue...one of a kind, thanks to my friends at Chicago Fret Works! Good eye!
Nothing against the classic sliver-silver face of the Rumble series, which I dig, but I prefer to remove the grillcloth for purely aesthetic purposes with my band (rock 'n' roll w/ a punk / pop punk influences).
I don't think it has much impact on the sound tbh...
Aw rite! My 2D optical tape measure still works, despite the not-yet-operable cataracts! Yee haw! I was a little leary 'cause I think of my R500c as taller'n that. But, it often sits on top my ol' Peavey 115 cab, so that error in elevation measurement is explained away.

Actually, I was thinking Lake Placid Blue, which I think is a bit darker than Pelham. But, oh, yeah, I do love the looks of that Pelham Jack!

Yeah, Fly! I think you get the punk aesthetic without the grille. But, personally, I'd be too afraid of the jumpin' around and the stray flying foot going thru the cone!
I'd hafta tie an old ragged t-shirt, or sumpin', over the grille for even extra protection in that environment. OCD, much? Yeah, a bit. 'Cuz, like Farmer's, I've seen a thing'r two!

Speaking of coverings, has anyone ever tried to stretch a t-shirt weight fabric (Certainly no heavier) over the grill and staple it down in the back?

I saw fairly recently someone redid a grill with that black weed-block fabric for flower beds. I don’t see why t-shirt wouldn’t work...

Yeah I think I am going to black spray paint my fender rumble grille
Here's where @iagtrplyr black spray painted the grille on his Rumble 115 cab to match his Rumble Stage 800 combo. Looks pretty good to me!

Wow. Fresh off a long hiatus and you pulled out all the stops amp wise. Congrats! I took a long break myself. Started back about six years ago. Took a few months to get going again, but it has been rewarding.

While I really like the customization is you guys are down does it make me a bad person to say I personally prefer the stock silver grill cloth look?
