Fender Rumble Club

I am chuckling to myself regarding the grill favorites. I had Fenders and Ampeg back in the early ‘70’s. My Fenders all had silver grills then. But during my 40 year hiatus, I guess I missed the changing fashions to all black..... by the time I got back to buying a bass amp again, they looked just like before....:bassist::)
TBH, this is my favorite look. Not available on Rumbles, though.(Calling @G-Dog)

Nothing new under the sun...

Really no need to @ me, Goner. I "felt a quiver in The Force" the moment you posted that beautiful vintage Bassman rig of yours, you Fender Bassman Club member #183, you! (sigh) :)

I did, however, find a Rumble in that look, though not the most common type of Rumble amp.

But there have been some other alternate looks in Limited Edition Rumbles though, as documented in the Rumble Artwork section of the Rumble Club Wiki page, linked in my signature.

And, finally, there's always the venerable DIY and/or custom approach that can get you anything you want!

Looking to pick up a Rumble 500C this week for grab and go gigs/jams.

Anyone using the effects return with a Sansamp or other pre for a different flavor?

This amp is a want, not a need, as I already have my big/small tube amps, lead sleds and GB class D’s.

I like what I’ve seen so far, thanks.

I was doing an A/B comparison of my new Fender Rumble 800HD head against an Ampeg SVT 4 Pro today. The Ampeg has flat settings with the Ultra Low setting on. Attached is a picture of my rumble head matched to the tone of the SVT 4 Pro.

It was incredibly close... give it a shot everyone. It’s a great tone. Btw, master can be set to whatever you need and I was using the same cab for both (Fender rumble 410). Oh, the Vintage and Contour switches are on.

Ladies and gentlemen, Rumblers all!
May I have your attention, please.

It is with great pleasure and much humility that I finally announce, @jdshimkoski, you are now member #1079 in the Fender Rumble Club. Congratulations and thank you for your patience and understanding. We're glad to have you amongst us and we appreciate your input. In fact, . . . .

Attention: Post-Dated Rumble Club Wiki Edit Alert!

Back just over a year ago, when Mr. shimkoski posted his Rumble pic above, and before I started announcing Rumble Club Wiki Edits, I had linked his post of Rumble Settings for Ampeg Tone in the Rumble Club TONE POOL section of The Wiki without the fanfare it deserved.

I do hereby publicly apologize and seek to make restitution for these, my past oversights, with this, jd's Club induction and accompanying edit alert. Now let the celebration begin as we all . . . .

Rumble On!

First get together in 6 months. Don’t rag the bass players’ shorts..102 yesterday.
got to play my new Paul. :hyper: Wow through my Marshall Whoo Wee. We have been jammin the “Top” for years! We also pulled out all six of my Basses to compare them. The 51 is his. Beautiful bass. The Antigua in the background is a beast!! As always, the Rumble 200 sounded absolutely amazing!! One of the best bass amps I’ve ever had. That comes from owning SVT SWR and many others. I love my Rumble 200. :hyper:Rock on brothers! Stay safe!

A quick note about this weekends show (outdoors at a marina, great little venue) I got several compliments on the bass sound. I never get any feedback from the crowd on it, but people that have seen us before told me specifically that the bass sounded tight and filled everything out well. I think elevating the combo and dialing in my eq have really made a positive effect. By the way, my amp settings for the show were;
gain - noon
master - 11:30
bass - 10:00
low mid - 9:00
high mid - 1:00
treb - noon
horn - off
vintage - on
contour - on
