Fender Rumble Club

Nice!
What size speaker/wattage?
Is that the model that Fender made for you to give to your buddy Aaron?

Well he may need to retune his drums!

Hee hee!
The Bassman 25 is(wait for it)25W into a 10. If it hadn't started buzzing, I wouldn't have needed the R40 for small room gigs/concert band. I replaced the original 10" when it started acting up about 5-6 years ago. Very bal....er, gutsy amp but fairly close[30.5 lbs] to the weight of the 200c[34.5 lbs].

In my brief demo, I liked the 500 better. But my goal is to have an amp that "cuts through" and I thought the 500 was more crisp. If I was playing more vintage blues, country, motown, I'd definatly go 200. But an all purpose rock n roll amp, I'll go 500.

I'm set with my 100c for a while, but I've pretty much decided the 500 is my "next step" amp.

If you want more power with 15 tone, why not head/cab?
In my case, I wanted the ease of a one trip load-in/out of a combo. If I'd known some of the things(in 2015)I've since learned on(in?)Rumble Club, I mighta gone 200h w/ 2x112's or 1x112 and 1x115. Then again, if the frog had wings he wouldn't bounce his fazaza on the creek bank.:smug:

Convenience is a big factor for me. One of the main reasons I'd pick the 500 over 200. People say "if the 200 isnt enough just add the cab" but then you're schlepping 2 cabs!

I was doing an A/B comparison of my new Fender Rumble 800HD head against an Ampeg SVT 4 Pro today.

The Ampeg has flat settings with the Ultra Low setting on.

Attached is a picture of my rumble head matched to the tone of the SVT 4 Pro.

It was incredibly close... give it a shot everyone. It’s a great tone.

Btw, master can be set to whatever you need and I was using the same cab for both (Fender rumble 410).

Oh, the Vintage and Contour switches are on.

Is the drive engaged?

For you Linnin followers, I found him on the Invalid Link Removed, He said, "Tell everyone I said hello! They can reach me here or on facebook where I use my real name = Linn Spencer. Rumble On Man

Linnin has been back on TB this week, but he cannot currently post in the Rumble Club thread. Don't know if this is temporary, intentional, or what. We'll see.
.

Uh! Where is Linnin!:thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

He's on at Fender.com. He stated he wasn't to welcome here, so he pretty much got out of Dodge here.

I gotta try em both out. I used a 200C at a big party and played out of an open garage. It sounded amazing and i don’t even think the volume was halfway up. I did consider a Mesa subway wd with a 15 cab but it is such a large investment to go that route. I already got a peg V-4b and 212AV can for those larger gigs.
