Fender Rumble Club

I guess that means you like The Hip? Like, Take Off, eh, Hoser! Haha.

Yes but, considering my age, one of my sons turned me on to them. I am still stuck in the '60's with Motown, soul and R&B. But I enjoy most music that is music, especially if it has a good P bass in it. From one Hoser to another, check out my last post which was edited...

Hi, everybody. I was wondering what the best Rumble amp with one ten inch speaker is? The Rumble 15 is cool, but I've always liked the sound of a ten inch speaker.

:D:laugh::roflmao: Well, tippy, as in all such subjective discussions, it is up to each person to determine their own definition of "best" by examining their preferences and intentions. While you're considering that, I'll just say this:

There are only 2 Rumble combos with a single 10" speaker. The one that Soul Man recommended to you, the Rumble Studio 40, introduced in 2018, is the newer model, with lots of digital modeling of different bass amp voices, cabinet simulations, and lots of special effects. I have one of these, too, and just love all the extreme versatility it offers. It's also plenty of power for most jams I do, even up to 2 dozen acoustic instruments! . But, it's not for everyone. Consider your own propensities and/or experiences with computers and/or effects pedals.

The other model is the analog Rumble 40 introduced in 2014 and is very similar to your Rumble 15, only bigger and more powerful. I have the Rumble 500 combo of this line and it can handle any stage I've ever been on! It can get a good many different tones, but not nearly as many as the Studio & Stage (which differ only in power & number of speakers).

So, do you wanna tell us your propensities and/or experiences for help discussing? Or wanna think about it a while?

I've got it now! The Rumble 40 sounds right up my alley. I'm an old school Rocker. Haha. Thank you.

Anndddd you will get GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) and buy a Rumble 100 within 1 month... ;) (I bought a Rumble 25 and a month later had a Rumble 150 too)

Or, just go directly to a Rumble 200 with a 15"er. That's what I did and haven't looked back, except for the Studio 40 as previously explained. There are times when smaller and lighter is needed. But, at least with the 40 you can connect it in so many great ways.

Naw, he won't be happy til he is sporting a Rumble Stage 800 with 410 cab. I mean, if you're gonna do it, might as well go for broke, right? :D

I would love a 410 cab. I used to have one. I had a Fender Bassman 400 Head on a 410 with a tweeter and that on top of a 115. When I played with the Drummer's Bass foot, it sounded like thunder coming! Haha.

So you should be looking at a Stage 800, then, with an extension cab. Either a 115 or a 410. Would sound great and you'd never have anyone drowning you out! :bassist:
