I have a Studio 40 - does that count? :)

Yes. Yes, it does, moony! @moon-bass, you are now member #1359 in the Fender Rumble Club. Congratulations and welcome. Put that number in your TB Signature for safe keeping. And make yourself at home here and on your Rumble Club Wiki page of all assembled Rumbling wisdom and knowledge, especially the TONE App Support section for the Stage & Studio. In fact, we have the Club's special Rumble LT25, Studio 40 & Stage 800 sub-thread specifically for bass modeling discussions! So, please only this main Rumble Club thread for more general Rumblings and post any Studio specific discussions in the sub-thread. Okay?

So, moony, please tell us a bit about yourself, such as your bass experience in general and your Rumble journey in particular. Whatever your situation you're going to fit right in, since we have all kinds here. But the one thing we all have in common is that we all love to ... ...

Rumble On!

My bass journey is way too long, but I was looking for a light weight, portable, great sounding practice amp with modeling, effects, and aux in, with a 10". Couldn't be happier!

'Nuff said! Welcome, indeed.

As a satisfied owner of Fender's first generation bass modeling amp, the B-DEC 30, I lusted after either of their third generation, the Studio 40 or Stage 800. When I realized I could use my Rumble 500 combo to reinforce the 40 my decision was made! I, too, couldn't be happier. :roflmao:

My modeling amp setup will be a little different.

Laptop running Gig Performer hosting Amplitube 5

Bass or guitar plugged directly into my audio interface

Audio interface line out pair to 200c AUX input (dual mono 1/4" to stereo 1/8")

200c/210 tweeters OFF for bass and ON for guitar

My 200c's tweeter is always off unless I'm playing CD's on breaks. What I/it needs is an indicator light so I don't forget to turn it off again. 20 minute break and I forget who I yam.

God I love the bass on my newest song. The Rumble and the Jazz get along so well. Vintage + bright + OD + lots of mids =:drool::drool:

For those interested:

I'm actually kind of amazed I got it recorded. I only had the guitar left but my joints don't like when it rains.

Good sounds.
Mine don't like it when it's warm-or chilly-or humid-or breezy-or dry-or rainy-or 'cane-y.

Hi Guys, I'm applying for membership in the Rumble Club. I just came home with a Rumble 100 V3 and I couldn't be happier. This (light) little box has plenty of punch for 22 pounds and my wife doesn't think it's ugly like my Crate BX-100. In fact, the Crate has been banished to the garage for a couple of years, so I've been using a little practice amp. The Rumble is so small, it's allowed inside, LOL. I'm getting a little long in the tooth to lug around my 67 pound Crate.

Hiya Joe, gotta post up a pic of your Rumble!

Nice slot-head!
Thanks! Owned it since 1974. Best I can tell from Gibson's crazy serial number system, it's a '71. The neck pickup is really muddy and the 100 handles it well, although I rarely play just that pickup. The electronics were modified before I got it. It has a Les Paul switch which selects either pickup or both. I intend to (someday) restore the electronics with an aftermarket kit.

Need some advice/help here guys... I had a rumble 200 combo that I absolutely loved, and then I upgraded to the 500 combo. The sound wasn't quite the same though. Now I'm wondering if I can safely pair a rumble 800 head with two rumble 115 cabs? Will it be loud enough for pretty much any venue short of a full arena? Will the tone sound like my old rumble 200 combo?
