Fender Rumble Club

If I can see you guys Friday, I'll bring mine, and get there early during setup so you can play around with it.
I appreciate that, but since it's Guy's band and he sets up a lot more[stuff]than the Driftwoods do, IDK if I'd have an outlet available-or time to f---* with it.

Hey GP! Thanks for YOUR service as well!
Best of luck with three-in-a-row gigs coming up.
Thanks. Four years Navy, but I came home-unlike a lot of those yesterday was set aside to remember.
AFA, 3 nights of gigs. I used to do 6 nights a week. Just not in this century.

My senior dog has 10pm locked in his little atomic clock brain. Let me out. Give me a treat. See ya in the morning.

And I'm right behind him!

Yeah, if we/I start picking up some gigs(it figures things open up as our 'season' ends-:banghead:), I'm gonna hafta break down and get an "El Cheapo" wireless so I can hear what I sound like out front. Then again, maybe I'm better off not knowing. Hmm...

An alternative for sound checks is a mini looper pedal. The TC Electronics Ditto comes up used for 50-60 USD. With that you could record a scale or a wide ranging riff and go out, hear it around the room, adjust your amp, rinse and repeat. You can just hook it up for sound check and then put it away. At least you are not dealing with wireless interference or battery issues.

If you want to be able to walk out and about during performances, then a wireless system would obviously be better.

Nobodies gonna take my useless u away from me!:roflmao:

Classic! Thanks for that :laugh::laugh:. And I am reserving "Hoser" for special occasions ;).

"Hoser. The classic Canadian insult. Originally refers to the losers of a hockey game, who, in pre-Zamboni times, would have to hose the rink down once the game was done. Now it's a synonym for “loser” — but with a particularly Canadian flavour." There's that darn "u" again...

I have a Studio 40 - does that count? :)
