Fender Rumble Club

Back in the 60's it was a 2x15 so, there is that...

For some reason, I don't remember much about my bass rigs of the 60's. I went through quite a few. I had a 2x15 Silver Combo of some kind. Probably a Kalamazoo bass rig with my K bass ( if they made bass amps), and a V4B with 2 cabinets. Amazingly, the V4B was not loud enough.

Well, I remember my Dynaco 60 watt tube amp with 2-15" JBL D140F's. Had no problem being heard with the '68 Telecaster bass I was running at the time. Wish I had them back...

Funny, a lot of us "...don't remember much..." of the '60's...;)

The R100 sounded awesome. My drummer kept saying all night that he could hear me fine. Loved the tone. Said it sounded, "Really, really good." I'm going back there in a month or so and I'll tweak it. For my taste, it needed to be fuller to my ear in real time. That was the only thing lacking, the fullness. But I didn't turn around to fiddle with some knobs. I had the rig set flat (Bass-10:00, Low mid- 2:00, High Mids- 2:00 and treble 10:00). Gain at 12:00, Volume at 10:00. I could have raised the Bass control or engaged the Vintage switch. But let it be known. R100 works great in a small bar. Check out the video for a rumble tone check. Its an iPhone Video but it should give a good idea of a live situation.

Yep, next time push in the vintage button also known as the "magical whatever it does" button. That might just give you the fullness you were missing.

Yes but a bit more Canada friendly.
I got mine from a Music-Go-Round in Michigan(I think). They're out there but hard to find.
If I'd really known what I was doing back in 2015 when I bought my first v3 Rumble-R200c, I'd have bought the R200h and 2 112 cabs; used 1 most of the time, both when needed. Oops.

Live and learn. I wish I'd have pushed to get a used 112 in 2018 when I got my Rumble 500H and 210. I don't know if it'd be particularly easy to find then either but I imagine it was easier then then now.

Most people who have them are keeping them. Like you say, live and learn. My second choice, after learning about daisy chaining, woulda been 2xR100's. So now I have a 200c and a 100 and I can daisy chain them if the need arises. They do sound great here in the house.

Same but I never found a 112. I am eternally on the search! Not that I wouldn't mind another 210, but some variety would be neat!

If I end up selling mine I can let you know, if you want.

I may just get one of these 26lb babies some day. In black I think it'd look great under a Rumble Combo

Indeed. If I see an R100 come up for a good price I'll probably scoop one up.
