If I had a Stage 800, I would change the grille and corner pieces to silver. Of course, I am really Old School, anyway...

No apologies need at this end. One would expect a price increase would be due to improvements.
Fender sells the grill cloth on their web site.
I thought about changing my silver to brown but probably won't.

I appreciate the notification of the price increases, which I see is also on the Fender website, as well. Not something I can be happy about, since I believe it's more an indicator of our overall economy than Rumble popularity.
And I'm glad you mentioned the "re-voicing" statement. It was fun looking back to that exciting time when the V3 Rumbles were new and making such a big splash! (sigh)

That would certainly be the ideal, Souly. Wish that were the case. However, the reasons I believe behind this are much less than ideal.

Fender's been unable to make stuff as fast as they sell it since the pandemic started. So you increase the price.
Granted that's happening all over the economy but it will calm down soon. With only limited reopenings and good weather in the West we've seen a lot of areas of demand fall off a cliff.
The reality is if you're a musician and your yearly vacation is put on hold for the 2nd year in a row you may as well buy some new gear with the money you saved! Now multiply that by a few billion, add health restrictions, and take away some of the shipping fleet (a record number of ships went to scrap in 2020). And there you have our current economy.
The real question I have is what's going to happen to prices between now and 2023 as the world slowly slumps off the pandemic and our economic demand returns to normal.
A lot of companies are going to see a shrink in YoY sales numbers. If those figures become too distressing we could see some prices come down. Though I figure most are just going to stay static a little longer than normal before going on their usual increases.

Well, today I finally traded in my GK 1001RBII for a Rumble 200 v3 head.
The GK was a beast, but I was barely using it because I didn't *need* that power, and I like the tone of my Rumble 500 v3 head better. Now I have a back-up to the 500. I'm curious to see how the sound of the 200 differs from the 500. (I should get it later this week.) Maybe less girth, but I'm sure the same sweet tone.
The good thing is that I got an obscenely good deal on the GK when I originally bought it in 2008, so today I didn' t feel like a total chump, money-wise.
Of course, the 200 and 500 heads are discontinued, so I figured I'd better grab this one.

Key words: Rumble 200, Rumble 500 heads: That tells me it's an old ad. I believe the only thing that new voice is saying is, hey, I now cost an additional $100.00, sadly. I don't need my 2x10 so I may sell it locally for $400.00 now.
Saw one listed as "Brand New" on Reverb.com for $399.99 + $30 shipping. And a couple of others at the new higher price.
Yer right, Lovey! I missed that reference to the discontinued heads. If it was new copy it woulda referred to the Rumble 800 head!
As for the re-voicing, it must refer to the V1 Rumble 100 combo with 2 x 10" speakers. That's the only previous Rumble 210 I know of. Yeah, the V3s are a lot lighter weight than the V1s and V2s.
I was just on Fenders website and looking at both the black and silver grill versions of the 210 Ext cab the silver one describes as re-voicing and lighter but the black version does not. They are still the same cabs as before but two different color grills. Fender did a price hike as of Aug 1st for all dealers. The funny thing is that the stores that had these in stock and already paid for still has to raise the price according to Fenders seller policy.
