The grilles of the silver 210 cab and the black 210 cab are interchangeable, but I've not found anywhere that sells them! Seems to be a DIY project. (The speaker components are identical) Good luck.

I believe the Invalid Link Removed is just hanging on to some outdated info there. For one, in big bold block letters it says, THE NEWEST ADDITION TO THE RUMBLE FAMILY when, clearly, the Stage, Studio, LT25, Rumble 800 HD are all much newer. Surely there would be some announcement if this, already very popular, cab had been changed!
The Rumble 210 (and 112) cab was introduced at Winter NAMM 2015 in January as being."re-voiced and re-engineered to produce superior sonic detail and low-frequency translation. Light and loud ..."

Makes me very happy I gots all the amps I'll ever need.
G-Dog, I think I might have jumped to conclusions about changes to the Rumble line that accompanied the price increase. My apologies to all! If I hear anything different I will post here. Now, back to lurking so I don't cause further confusion!![]()
Fender sells the grill cloth on their web site.I have a couple questions regarding the Rumble 210 Ext cab. I have a Rumble 800 and I was looking for the 210 matching EXT cab in black but I happen to find a cheap priced 210 with the silver grill cloth. So first question is, Are the black and silver Velcro grills interchangeable? Second question, does anyone sell a black replacement Velcro grill or do I need to buy the cloth and do it myself? Where can I buy the exact cloth?

No apologies need at this end. One would expect a price increase would be due to improvements.
One Fender BEAN counter to another, “ How do we raise the price of our product?”No prob, Bob. That's exactly the kind of news and/or confusion that we want/should hear about and discuss here!
I appreciate the notification of the price increases, which I see is also on the Fender website, as well. Not something I can be happy about, since I believe it's more an indicator of our overall economy than Rumble popularity.
And I'm glad you mentioned the "re-voicing" statement. It was fun looking back to that exciting time when the V3 Rumbles were new and making such a big splash! (sigh)
That would certainly be the ideal, Souly. Wish that were the case. However, the reasons I believe behind this are much less than ideal.

Crap I just looked and they only have black, tweed and brown. No silver. The had silver a few months ago...Fender sells the grill cloth on their web site.
I thought about changing my silver to brown but probably won't.

Thanks, just ordered covers for my Rumble 500 combo and my 210 & 115 cabinets!OK, it's MDB Covers: Link Removed
It's a canvas/cloth dust cover(not vinyl/waterproof). Not the best, but inexpensive.

Sweetwater is showing price increases on the Rumble series. The 210 cabinet price has increased $100 and is said to have different tuning among other changes. Thought you folks would want to know...

Hello G-Dog,
Follow this link to the Fender web site.
Fender Rumble 210 2x10" 700-watt Bass Cabinet - Silver Grille | Sweetwater
And for convenience here's Fender's description of the new 210 cabinet:
"For bassists everywhere at all levels who prize a great-sounding 2x10" enclosure with textbook Fender punch, power and clarity, the Rumble 210 Cabinet delivers all that plus great affordability. Re-voiced from previous versions to produce superior tonal detail and low-frequency translation, it also features Eminence® speakers, a premium high-end compression horn and Fender's magnetic Rumble head-attachment system, which magnetically holds the Rumble 200 and 500 heads securely in place atop it for a perfect pairing."

They are claiming lighter and louder. Sounds like a desirable upgrade.
Bob
Yep, it's just the same product description as when they were first introduced. The only difference is a hefty price increase, IMHO.
Key words: Rumble 200, Rumble 500 heads: That tells me it's an old ad. I believe the only thing that new voice is saying is, hey, I now cost an additional $100.00, sadly. I don't need my 2x10 so I may sell it locally for $400.00 now.

I was just on Fenders website and looking at both the black and silver grill versions of the 210 Ext cab the silver one describes as re-voicing and lighter but the black version does not. They are still the same cabs as before but two different color grills. Fender did a price hike as of Aug 1st for all dealers. The funny thing is that the stores that had these in stock and already paid for still has to raise the price according to Fenders seller policy.Key words: Rumble 200, Rumble 500 heads: That tells me it's an old ad.
