Fender Rumble Club

Rumble 100 still available at old prices on Amazon (while it lasts). Didn’t check other models. In this case, can’t help but think Fender raised prices to get closer to new Ampeg combo prices and recover some the $100 extra Ampeg charges for the rb112,
"Follow the money"-always.

That was my first thought, too. But, if you compare the Rumbles to the Rockets on the same website, the Rockets still cost a bit more, in most cases. That's why I blame inflation and not just one vendor.

A coupla people have proposed daisy chaining from the Rocket to the Rumble to get the 'peg sound outta both. Why?:smug:;) (ducking now)

And I had to sell the 120V 200c I bought at the original issue price (already raised once by $100). So, the replacement 220V 200c is gonna cost me yet one more C note. Dang.

My Rumble 500 combo has been my home practice amp for about 3 years. I finally formed a band a couple months ago, and always use an amp that is available at our once a month rehearsal space just for convenience. However, since we are looking to start trying to venture out and play some open mic stages soon, I figured it would make sense to start hauling it to rehearsal and experiment a bit more in a live environment for the first time. I seem to recall seeing links to various settings from you guys on this thread, but can't seem to locate. Can anyone refresh this aging memory?

Well, YEE-HAW!, there, Tex, #1204! Good for you, forming your own band! Best of luck to y'all.

Sounds like you're looking for the Tone Pool list linked on your Rumble Club Wiki page. It's the googledocs spreadsheet of users settings we've collected for sharing. Give some a try! And feel free to add others you don't see there already.

Happy trails, 'til we meet again for your gig reports! ;)

Perfect, thanks G-Dog, I appreciate that pardner! I will definitely update ya'll

You know I used to rock Ampeg all the time but I switched to my acoustic combo and my Rumble 800 because they both reproduce clean powerful sound. I realize that the Ampeg sound was never anymore than tubes under stress. Or a replica of the sound of tubes under stress. It has it's time and place but I do think Fender was smart to go for a base model of clean amplification on the Rumbles and then offer eq and the vintage button. Still loving my Rumble!

What he ^ said, but you'll find B-10, LM-2, HM-2, Tr-10 is approximately 'flat'. Adjust to taste from there.
