Played an open air show yesterday first time with the Rumble 115. Powered by my trusty Yamaha B100-115SE head (hijacked from the 90-pound combo). A 40 year old head paired with a very recent cab pushing the P-bass (round wounds with foam muting). Tone was thick and woody, very warm. The Yamaha puts out that vintage vibe; the Rumble 115 continues to impress. The switch for the cabinet's horn is set/kept on 'Full'. Granted the performance and material (Boomer covers) do not call for high volume but the 15 never breaks a sweat, etc. I kept a middle of the road tone (dials mostly flat) leaning just a bit more on the treble for a little more 'cut'. The P-bass is naturally very bass heavy.
For the ease of transport (light weight and wheels), sound quality and size the Rumble 115 (I'm a '15' guy) has got to be one of the best $bargains$ on the market for a 15" cabinet.View attachment 4411857
