At least I know what to expect when I get around to buying a 200c/210 stack here. I only had the 200c in the States, so never paid any attention to the location of the feet.

Here's my 500 combo with 1x12 cabinet (just to show the height difference between the two stacks).
Hey, EatSy and Big Mc, what do you think of the combo's rubber feet locations on top of the cab's corner screws? Good? Bad? Ugly?

Great rig! Hold onto that 112! I've been looking for one for years at this point with 0 luck.
Not worried about the stability. I'd just prefer the combo sat flat on the cab. I'll relocate them, so they sit just inside the corner protectors.
BTW: I gave it a little workout, last night.
Boy, does this thing deliver. I am surprised at how much low-end this stack is capable of putting out. Had the gain at 10:00, master at 09:00, eq mostly flat, except bass at 01:30, no drive or other switches engaged. The whole house was shaking and probably a couple of neighbors' houses.Just what I was looking for. My tonal goals are warm, deep, fat and low. I always turn tweeters off, as I have no use for them. I probably wont be using the drive section very much. I don't really have a use for a dirty tone. I definitely wont be using bright or contour (scooped), as I don't slap and and hate with a passion, bright, clanky or twangy tones on a bass.
I was looking for something light, loud, with a vintage tone, to replace my heavy, aging SWR combo. The Rumble fits the bill, perfectly.

I agree. I don't need the bright or contour buttons either, nor the overdrive channel. Tweeter off! I've rarely used the vintage button either; I'd maybe turn it on at extremely low volumes, maybe. I'm just looking for deep clear bass and let the guitar have the upper range. I'm also with you on moving the feet if they don't line up the way you want. Gregorius, do you keep the Drive & Level controls both at zero and then use the Overdrive button as a mute? That's a hidden [feature] that some other Rumblers use when they have no use for actual Overdrive! But, it also accidentally sent at least a couple of Rumbles to the repair shop needlessly!

Have the 1x12 cabinets been discontinued? I can't find them on the Fender site in the bass amp section.
Many, many, many years ago, I got in the habit of just turning my volume down on the instrument every time I set it down. It's pretty much a reflex action.

I'm afraid so, B, a couple years ago. They, apparently, didn't sell as well as the 115, 210 & 410 cabs, which are still available. Some of us have been looking for them high and low, to no avail!
It was also disheartening to see the Rumble 200 and 500 amp heads discontinued about that time, too. At least the Rumble 800 HD is a worthy replacement of those.
The Rumble V1s were produced for 7 years, and the V2s for just 4 years. The Rumble V3s have been rocking the bass world for 8 years now without any signs of slowing down. Even Ampeg's copies of the Rumble combos last year (but no heads or cabs) hasn't hurt the Rumble market share.

I'm so glad you guys told me about the flat EQ setting a couple weeks back. I've modified it a lil bit on my 800 HD (boosted bass, cut trebs more, cut high mid, slightly cut low mid) and I've been getting such fatter tones with my sansamp. I've also been able to get better tones from the amp when I use the flat as a starting point instead of noon. I find that playing with the amp's gain and the input volume has also been a good way to add character to the tone. I guess that's kind of how you can get the Rumble's to compress more? Does that auto compression also work when the overdrive circuit is engaged?
Interestingly, the feet on the 210 cab are not in the same position as on the combo. On the cab, they are placed further in, so if you placed the 210 cab on top of the combo or on another 210, they would clear the corner protectors.
Also, the cab is made in China, while the combo is made in Indonesia. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. I'm sure both would be built to Fender's specs.

Yesterday I was looking at Rumbles on Fender.com and the 15 and 40 are on sale. I like my 25 but now I have 40-envy...

I went from a 25 to a 40 and it was worth it to me. If the 40 is on sale, I'd suggest grabbing it. You won't be disappointed.
