Fender Rumble Club

I looked into it and liked the whole rhythm aspect, thicker strings, less of ‘em (LOL) and purchased a bass. I have been learning off and on now for a couple years (COVID, work, kids), but have lately really been throwing myself back into it. I have a couple of Yamaha basses (a TRBX604 and BB734) as well as my Epiphone JC semi-hollow)

The real reason I’m here though is my Studio 40 amp which I absolutely LOVE! Not only has it been a great starter amp for home playing/learning, I also think it’s been a great introduction to modeling and listening/learning about different tones, effects pedals, etc. in an affordable package. I of course, now lust for either and additional add-on amp for it to get more volume as I learn and look to play out with my buddies, or truth be told, get a Stage 800 as a bigger, more powerful do-it-all amp.

Just as I am doing in the other thread, I look forward to learning more about these amps, and all of you great folks that post, inform, and help me continue to love this new skill/pastime I’ve delved into!

Cool intro, Kev! Those basses are all lovely, but that red JC is drop dead gorgeous!

I actually have modded this one to a fair degree; replaced the OEM 3-way bridge with a Hipshot, put in Grover tuners and moved the upper strap button to the upper horn instead of at the base of the neck due to the way it wanted to fall away from my body when playing standing up. I also painted the pickup and guard black to match the one that came on the 20th Anniversary models instead of the cream-color it was originally.

Unless you're wailing away at things, you shouldn't need the pickguard even if you play with a pick. IMO.

I'm a Supertone fan in general (such as on my Thunderbirds) but I think the JC and Supertone look made for each other.

lol! I’m a punk what can I say!! Actually the top one is a 200c so I like how I can access the controls from the side and they fit my rolling cart perfectly that way. 210 on the bottom. :laugh:

Ha, I did the same although the top was a R200 Combo (on it's side) and a R115 on the bottom, with wheels. I replaced the R200 Combo logo with a Blackface to match the bottom. OCD is a terrible thing but, I didn't play out so, I sold the R200 Combo.

I haven't needed/used my 200c in ~a year. If I sold it, within 4 days I'd need it. Thus, it ain't goin' nowhere.

After lurking on the Ampeg RB series forum for a while finally decided to go with a Rumble 100 while also welcoming this new J Bass from Japan (birthday gift to me lol). Excuse the not so great photo's...I haven't had the pleasure of playing either of the new arrivals yet. Schecter bass is in the shop and I shipped this guy from Japan straight to my folks place since we were heading to vacation soon and it actually came super fast unexpectedly. So I'll have to wait a few weeks but i'm super excited nonetheless!
