hello everyone!
I recently switched amps, from one Rumble to another, so thought I'd pop in and officially join.
My bass journey started a bit over a year ago with a Rumble LT25. I thought all of the effects would make practicing more interesting and fun but after fiddling some during the first week, the amp remained on 01 Studio Clean. I realized I needed to focus on learning to play, and the effects were an unnecessary distraction for me at this stage.
I did notice that, in my environment, the LT25 wasn't very bass-y except for certain frequencies, like around the 12th fret of the E string. D and G strings sounded guitar-like. So while it worked fine for practice, for me personally, it felt like something was missing.
Then I happened to find a "new" in-the-box Rumble 60 for a price I couldn't pass up. It was purchased by someone in the military right before they were deployed and had spent its life in storage.
What a difference! I've had it now for a few months and just love the sound.
Here are pictures of the LT25 the day I brought it home, and my "new" 60.
