If I like it.

I had to get rig of 2 Rays and a 70 Fender Jazz latley for monetary reasons, plus they were too heavy on my back, soo light weight here I come. I have had a real love hate relationship with Ibys, I hope I like this one cause I love the color

Had one of those sr's i loved it, wish i still had it.

Rockin Mike, would you like to keep 17 and have it designated as 'in spirit' or pass it on to someone else? If you can contribute knowledge about the amps I don't mind letting you keep your number. I also don't know if there are specific rules about this though. *shrug*

I didn't want to like the Rumble 60 I played through tonight. Fender is supposed to be a guitar and bass company, their amps should suck because it's not their core business.

Could not deny the punchiness of that little beast, though. Really nice.

I'm annoyed that I can't say anything bad about it.
Oh yeah, there's no builtin direct box. Now I feel better.

Leo started making amps before he made guitars, so don't feel too bad. Higher powered rumbles like the 350w have their own DI with a ground lift built in

Ive been thinking of getting a rumble head plus cab. But do u think the 350 combo amp will be loud enough in a medium sized bar?

In my experience with other 2x10 bass combos, no. I own a fender pro 400 which is a 350 watt 2x10 combo made by fender. It sounds great but it just is not loud enough for a big room over top of a loud band before the drivers start to "fart". Plenty of headroom from the amp but the speakers just cant do it. Now if i use the amp to drive my 4x10 rumble cab it becomes a totally different story. Or if you have pa support and only need your amp as a stage monitor. In that case you should be fine.

I just bought a rumble 150 combo and figured this is a good place to ask a question about it (sorry if I should've done it elsewhere).

What happens is that if I put some bass on the eq (both on the amp and on my bass) it does sound bassy and I like it, but if I press the "punch" button, instead of putting even more bass on it, it takes it off.

Is this normal?
If it's actualy a problem, has any of you experienced it too?
Is the filter made to lower the bass if it has too much already?
Could it be that the punch filter is actualy active when the button isn't pressed, and deactivates when I press it?

I've tested this on different spaces, with and without headphones and the -6 db button, and with the horn on and off.
