Fender Rumble Club

Here are the settings on my Rumble 100 set in stone. No buttons pushed. My Treble is turned a little higher because I run TI flats. Tuesday night, I actually heard people talking about how the bass sounded and received several compliments personally. I truly believe part of my good tone is the fact I place my bass amp on an Auralex GRAMMA v2 Isolation Riser.

Adding markings handy. I should do that. Thanks.

You could also use this Sharp(ie)Cat mod for the buttons. :) Otherwise almost impossible to see which is pressed specially in low light environments.

Congratulations! Enjoy! Now it's time to bet that 115 extension cab.
I was looking at those. I had one a long time ago with my 200. Two 10s and a 15 would be pretty great and so would the second 2x10 cabinet. But, in reality, the two 10s will probably be perfect with their coupling effect. I'm mostly just a fill in bass player.

I have the 500c and, mostly, love it. I wish I had gotten the extension cab right way ... not for volume, but tone.

I'm going to be playing through a backline Rumble 100 tomorrow night. I've used a 500 head on plenty of occasions, but haven't used the 100 combo. Any words of wisdom or suggestions? I like to go for a fat, warm, vintage sound, and will have a few pedals in the mix. Thanks, y'all!
In that situation, I'd start with the settings I like on my 500 and tweak from there.

In my situation, I run flat EQ (10/2/2/10), no buttons pushed, and use my pedalboard which does most of my tone shaping. Tweak eq and buttons to fit the room.

Did you get the two-10s or the 15?

:) ... neither, after hemming and hawing for a year + over how I wanted to proceed, I picked up a Mesa 115 cab and a Bass 800-D amp, both at a good deal.

The 500c was not giving me the low end that I wanted, and at points was not giving me the clear note articulation I wanted. (My target tones are Flabba Holt, Dusty Hill, and as an FX pedal platform). I am not above user error. But I wish, when I picked up the 500c 2+ years ago, I would have listened to the folks telling me a whole new world of tone was opened up by the extension cab (I would have gone 210 btw). But the delay gave me an opportunity to get very curious about the Mesa 115 hype, and I zigged when I planned to zag. I still have the 500c, and when funds allow still plan to get that 210.

So, I finally took the Rumble 500 out of the box, and it seems a little taller than what I was expecting. I wasn't really going to get the extension cabinet except this one came up locally for super cheap and I couldn't resist. Excellent condition other than the missing the Fender Logo. I haven't even plugged it into the amp yet.
