Fender Rumble Club

Man, I love my Rumbles. Got nothing to add to the thread, just wanted to post some Rumble porn. :)

My MDB covers came in the mail today. That was wicked quick turn around. and they came complete with Velcro in place bottom cover panels. The fit is absolutely perfect, and that material they make them from seems to be bombproof.

Should keep me, and the Mrs. happy for years to come keeping my Rumble gear laceration free from moving about!

My Fender American Standard Jazz and my Fender Rumble 500 V3 Combo. A few of the finer things in life...

Why does looking at that make me want a brandy and a good cigar?

Took my Rumble 350 head and my newly re-speakered GK 410 for a spin at a small out door gig tonight. The Rumble and 410 handled things just fine. Got my tone settings jacked up a bit but really surprised at the difference the new speakers made. The new cones ran the RMS handling up to 600w from the previous 400w. I have another 410 800w cab to pair it with when needed. Or I just use whatever I feel like using at that moment. Anyway the Rumble 350 is pushing them just fine. I even got a little extra headroom out of it.

Rumbles Rock.

Hi guys - looking for suggestions on a cable to play my iPhone/iPad into the V1 R15.
It seems to have a 2 RCA input at the amp end, is that correct?

If so, I'll hit the electronic shops looking for a cable with a iPhone end and RCA at the other end.
What do you guys use?
Not 100% sure about the V1 Rumble but if I check the pictures it has the red and white connectors, right?
Then you can just use a 3.5 mm jack to stereo RCA cable, like this one.

Ta, that looks a bit better, I saw a Belkin one today at a local shop for $24.95.... It looked fancier but still?!?!?

I wonder why the 500 V3 Combo isn't available as a 115. Any thoughts?

Yeah, I wish they did. I like having the bigger speakers.

I think it is just a logical progression from the original Rumble 100 1x15 combo in 2003 to the V2 Rumble 150 1x15 combo in 2010 to the V3 Rumble 200 1x15 combo in 2014. The first high wattage 2x10 combo was the 2010 Rumble 350 which was replaced in 2014 by the Rumble 500 2x10 combo. But you always have the option of a Rumble 500 head and a pair of Rumble 115 cabinets for those of you that prefer 15" woofers. I'd love to play through such a ballsy stack.

Just look at what one thousand Dollars U.S. buys you: Rumble 500 Combo + Rumble 210 extension cabinet; Rumble 500 Head + your pick of either a pair of 112 cabs or 115 cabs. It is absolutely astounding how much great sounding and reliable gear you can get brand new & shipped for such a low price.

That's true. It is pretty cheap rig for what you get. I've actually had my Rumble 350 combo for 3 1/2 years now. I got it in the beginning of 2012. I haven't had the chance to check out the new series, yet. I have to say, besides the Rumble, I've had my eye on that new Bassman 500 head. I've been curious about that one, too.

A lot of pro set-ups use arrays of 10" with some 15" for a bit more shove down low. Fewer do the 10" + 12" arrays.

I like Linnin's choices for the "thousand dollar rig."

But I'm going back to my opinion that you should save up your lunch money and get one of every Rumble v3 made with possibly extra 112 & 115 cabs for those 2x12 and 2x15 gigs. "It's the only way to be sure"(tm).

You can save some [minor] coin by not buying the 15 and 25 combos...
