Fender Rumble Club

You are lucky. I live a 30-minute drive away and can not get a pass. I've tried. One guy was selling passes for $200 on Craigslist. Is that a good deal?
Somehow you should be able to wrangle a pass as an official representative of the Fender Rumble Club. Call Fender ask to speak to Rob Wilox. He's the manager of Consumer Relations, and you've seen him before on Fender Bass Amplification videos. He's good friends with Bass Amp designer and principal engineer Dave Lewis both of whom will be there.

So after a few enquiries and some very helpful advice with the club I finally pulled the trigger on a 500 combo. So impressed with it, additionally sounds amazing with a 6 string.

Long time lurker, first time (Fender amp) buyer! I give you my latest purchase. Fender Rumble 40. Needed an amp with headphone jack and aux input as wife was starting to growl about the "big" amp. If momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy........:roflmao:

Welcome to the Fender Rumble Club, @Feralhog! :woot: You are member #574 :hyper: :D Rumbles Rule! :D

Swap the 9050L to Sadowsky BL 40-100 flat few weeks ago, another great matching string set with the Rumble 200 V3.
With it MID sounding present, plus more focus + less bassy E string, now ,i can leave the Bass and Lo-mid at noon. Without any shape button engage, horn off, slightly turn the Hi-mid and treble to 1 o'clock, keep the master volume at Noon and just adjust the Gain amount, Pbass volume at 85% + Tone 40%. I get a another great vibe from 200 V3 combo + Sadow flat with Fender Pure Vintage 63's pickup. Happy with the result.

Have had the Rumble 200 combo for two months now, played several gigs and have to say I am blown away by this amp. It seems with the various buttons and controls I can get any tone I want to try out of the 200 and I have yet to find one I do not like. In the shows we have done I haven't even come close to pushing it, loads in and out easily and my bandmates absolutely love it.
In addition to my band I have a jam band with a couple of friends that plays in my basement now and then, but we have no guitarist so I generally alternate between bass and guitar (and I hate it LOL!). I saw a video on here of Royal Blood a couple of weeks ago and thought 'geez I'd like to try something like that with my basement band'. So in asking the guys at the store where I bought the amp what kind of equipment I'd need to get that sound, we talked about it a bit and then they said 'hey, you have a new Rumble right? Just try cranking the Overdrive all the way up, drop the bass and add highs - play around with it - and you should be able to come close.' I did exactly what they said and played the bass all night as a guitar/bass. Everyone loved it LOL! I'm not sure if it was very Royal Blood, but it was definitely a blast! :)
Anyway, great amp. Could not be happier with it.

Another way to do it is plug a guitar into a Boss OC3. One output to a guitar amp and one to the bass amp. When I perform as a one man band, I am my own bass player that way, but without amps. It is in my profile. The OC3 is the most important pedal when I do that.

My Rumbles are for when I play "real" bass.
I don't always play bass. But when I do, I Rumble.

Your dabbling in guitar-territory makes me think of an 8-string bass. Sure it means considering purchasing MORE equipment but I find my Schecter 8 allows for all sorts of lead guitar-like fun. It is relatively easy to go from playing only the octave strings one moment today to only playing the bass strings the next. Or, just play the pairs for a full, dense result.

There are some relatively inexpensive 8-ers out there. Or, buy used like I did to save $$$.

(@GaryLC: Thanks for the reminder! I just added my number to my signature!)

Hey, found it at last. I use a Rumble 30 V2 for my main practice amp. Nice fat bass fingerstyle tone, works great with my Boss CS-3 Comp to give a fantastic slap funk sound as well. Built in OD is a little...harsh. Not the sound I like, if I have to use it I have to bring the tone all the way down on my bass otherwise it sounds like a massive fart. I have a cheap Behringer BOD400 Bass OD pedal and even that sounds better than the amp!

Edit: So what is this number thing then? Do I have to add one to my sig?
