Fender Rumble Club

Long time without following up on my experience. This amp (500 combo) changed the way I play. It's more clear and defined over the old Hartke I was using, and the 2x10 stood right up to the 4x10 volume wise as well. Just waiting for enough cash to buy a 1x15 to make it kick even harder. It's a little hard to describe, but me and the drums click so much better now. Much more pronounced, I suppose.

Also, I solved that popping and zapping. Guitar Center gave me a bad cord. They could've killed me!

I spent $400 for the amp, but $50 for tax and shipping and it was the smartest buy I've ever made. Loud, sounds awesome, and worked wonders for the school jazz band and a 3 piece basement rockband.

How big of a room can a Rumble 200 be used in (with FOH support)?

Here she is:

Standing back a bit more:

IMO the Rumble mixes well...gets over the drums and is a featherweight. Great amp. I think for pure tone from the speaker I still like my Rumble 100 just a tiny bit more, but the 200 has more push and still sounds excellent.

Yeah, just scan through all 9,087 posts. ;)
check posts on this forum in my name, or do a word search.

When people make extensive postings on TalkBass I think it's a stretch to ask them to do it again because they're too lazy to just search the forum. FWIW, I write long posts about my experiences for exactly the reason that it will remain as a reference for someone trying to find an answer to the very thing I and others have discovered. So please, be respectful and do a little work to discover the knowledge we've already documented.

This maybe brings up a thought... is there a way to title posts so that they'd be "grouped" and easily searched but still within the club thread? Kind of a folder within a folder.
Yes there is a way. Find your posts and save the links. Whenever someone asks about what you have posted, just repost the links. That would give the answers they are looking for in one post. They would probably say thank you and LIKE your post.

WOW! After seeing those pics,my musician friends always tell me that I'll never need more than my rumble 210 ext cab to accompany my 200c.They maybe right(indoors). This is a real venue that some of us will probally never get to at that level, but we have friends that do! Awesome pics, pro everything; You enhance my dreams & amplify my wishes;Keep up the great work.

I love my 112 ext cab, it pairs very well with my 200 combo. Adding that 2nd cab really makes a difference in volume. That said, most people with the 500 combo seem to be adding the 210 ext cab, that's probably what I'd do if I had the 500. I'd see if you can find a shop with a 112 and a 210 (might be impossible though) and see if you can test it out and compare them. Also, maybe see if someone has a YouTube comparison out there.
Good luck and let us know how it goes and what you end up doing, as well as your opinion on the final results.
Thanks so much!
