I like the numbered/skirted knobs on the head. It really looks great. The combo looks cool too; like my Deluxe Reverb.

With the combo on a dim stage, I like the stock knobs. At a glance, I can easily see where everything is set and make adjustments. I actually change settings often enough on the fly. I can get a visual of my eq pretty easily even in the dark with LED's, lasers, and strobes flashing.

I run a Chauvet Swarm 5FX (pointed down on the dancefloor) and a Chauvet COLORstrip Mini FX (lighting the wall behind and the ceiling) when I play. Those two lights are easy to set up and do a lot. Simple and effective. It makes the place seem more like a party.

My boss at my "real job" had me pick up a Swarm 5FX for him for home use.

Yes, it is! Version 3 of the Fender Rumble line was introduced at Winter NAMM Jan 2014. The V3 Rumble 210 and 112 extension speaker cabinets were introduced last year at Winter NAMM 2015. Rumble On!

Yes, it is! Version 3 of the Fender Rumble line was introduced at Winter NAMM Jan 2014. The V3 Rumble 210 and 112 extension speaker cabinets were introduced last year at Winter NAMM 2015. Rumble On!

Plus, you need to be in the trade (or have a friend who is) to get in. And then once in, you have to try and decide where to go--there is so much going on all at once. Generally when anything supercool is going on (top players showing up) you are on the other side of the place!

Me too. Pretty much an all day flight from Dulles/DC to
LAX. And you'd want to visit the Fender Factory & Visitor's Center in Corona and swing by Fullerton to see the Fender exhibit at the museum there.

For me roughly $600 round trip airfare plus food; lodging, and car rental = not happening!

I could do it for about $100 in gas (and I have a friend in the biz that always asks me if i want to go) but the hard thing for me is the vacation time. I would generally rather use that time off for camping or travel to some other place. Plus, i cannot imagine how much grinding i would do. I'd want to buy half of what i see. At least when i go camping the trees and the scenery are free.

I could do a flight/hotel package from DAL to LAX for $770. So with food and car rental, I'm looking at a grand.
