I've heard a lot of good about the rumble V2 350 head-still trying to decide between that and the r500 head for my nx upgrade; still researching.

The Rumble 350 in both head and combo formats launched the Fender Rumble line into the professional gear arena. Often out-performing and sounding better than bass amps 3 and 4 times more expensive. Indeed when ampeg potty-flex flamed on and bit the big one, Fender Rumbles kept on truckin' ever faithful with rock solid reliability. There's a reason why Fender Rumbles are number 1 in world wide sales since 2011.

Actually it's not the feet. The feet fit into the cups, and that's all they do. This lowers the steel chassis of the head down against the cabinet. Under the vinyl covering is a magnetic strip which attracts the head and snugs it down tight. It's a stroke of Fender genius. All the heads are the same size and fit just fine.

It's all true. Fender Rumbles are the most reliable bass amps on the global market, and have been for 5 years running. There are none better. Anywhere. At any price.

I think it started with someone wanting to connect a head /cab as a slave to a combo and yes it's the same, just run an instrument cable from the effects send on the combo to the instrument input on the head /cab.

FTP - The second generation (or version 2) of Rumble combos were released Jan 15, 2010

The 350 head on top of the new 4 ohm 410 cab were an unbeatable combination at just $700. Yes, they sold well. The Rumble 410 cab proved to be exceedingly popular and sold hand-over-fist as its reputation for exceptional sonic quality soared.
