It's your life, baby, do what you like! Thanks for the advice and yes, $50 more for the 500 combo is pretty much a no brainer I guess. Im just not used to playing thru 10s, always been a 15 kinda guy. Should probably play the 500 first I guess.

I give; I got nothing - show off.droolDon't forget to include the emotional/psychological state of the ensemble, and relative level of substance induced euphoria or lack thereof.
We need to go drinking & smoking together. All of us! Times Square? Trafalgar Square? Red Square?I give; I got nothing - show off.drool
Also if I may add, an ext cab makes the r200c a monster. After living with my new-to-me Rumble 200 combo for a couple of days, I just completed a head-to-head A/B comparison with my modified Rumble 75. Gotta tell ya the mids are so much more even and smoothly broad on the 200. That new custom Eminence 15" woofer is pure bass magic! With no voicings engaged and the tone controls set to 12 o'clock high with Zero boost or cut, the tone is not that much different, but The Rumble 200 combo is for damn sure much more better.
My Rumble 75 is going up for local sale. Soon.
Anywhere is good, love me some Kentucky spirits also.We need to go drinking & smoking together. All of us! Times Square? Trafalgar Square? Red Square?
The hell you say! Also if I may add, an ext cab makes the r200c a monster.
Bass Bros Love Us Some Well Aged Bourbon!Anywhere is good, love me some Kentucky spirits also.
Very interested in what you think of it. I have a 500 combo and a 1-12 cab that sounds great together, but a bit of overkill so I'm thinking of getting a 500 head as a backup with the 1-12.Rehearsal tonight. I'm going to be trying the 112 cab and 500 head alone. Hopefully should be enough, as the upstairs room is a pain to lug the 115 up to!
Is there something wrong with that?Holy crap, this thing's gonna be 600 pages tonight.
The 500c is quite versatile, you probably won't miss your 15's much. Thanks for the advice and yes, $50 more for the 500 combo is pretty much a no brainer I guess. Im just not used to playing thru 10s, always been a 15 kinda guy. Should probably play the 500 first I guess.
ACK! I would! The 500c is quite versatile, you probably won't miss your 15's much.
Good to hear, now all I have to do is deal with GAS.Just got back from being sonically blasted - thank God for earplugs!
It wasn't my normal band, but a new potential project. Two loud guitarists and a drummer....plus me and the 112 with 500 head.
I was concerned it wouldn't be enough. Man, was I wrong! There was bags of cut- through and power.
It had it all and more...so a great result.
I'm so impressed with my rig change. It sounds better, and it's given me more options to use either cab, or both.
....and all with an old Ricky. I reckon a modern P bass might just take the roof off!
