Fender Rumble Club

I am so happy with my new Rumble 100 V3, tones are simple and easy to dial in, excellent sound, light weight, i can blend in with the band without any problem, specially with my son's Mapex drum( he plays loud!) matching with my Ibanez SR500 bass axe, a perfect match! So guys, just go to your local music stores and try him out, you won't be disappointed, i paid 329 + tax at long and mcquade in canada.
Cheers

Thanks Linnin, yah Rumble Rock, a question , how can i add my gears to my profile like you have? Thanks
That's easy too, sonny. Just look at the top of your TalkBass screen and find your name. Move your cursor over it and a menu will drop down. Second option down on the left hand side is "Signature" click on that and enter anything you'd like to show up at the bottom of every post you make. Click on 'Save Changes' and away you go!

Does anybody have any experience bi-amping with Rumbles? Currently I have a Bronco 40 that I use for practice and a Rumble 150 v2 head with a separate 1-15 cabinet that has a good Dayton Audio driver with plenty of low end that I use for gigs with my bluegrass band (so not really high volume).

I have a couple of objectives, one is to get a new combo amp that I can use in my newly redecorated living room (I use the Bronco downstairs in the Family room and don't want to have to lug it up and down much. And it needs to look good and be small enough to tuck behind a chair when not in use.) The other is that I bi-amped some back in the '80's and have always dreamed of putting together a small bi-amped rig.

So I was thinking that if I got a new Rumble 100 v3 I could use that in the living room and use it as part of a bi-amped system.

Seems that I could go out of the fx send on either the Rumble 100 or 150 and then into a crossover (I was looking at the dbx 223S which has 1/4" TRS balanced inputs and outputs which should work with the fx send/receives). Then I could run the lows into the 150 fx return and the highs (mids really) into the 100 fx return. So for about $450 I could get both a small combo amp for practice (that would also work for many of my gigs) and complete the bi-amped system.

Does anyone think this would work? I think it may really kick some butt, the "mini-big rig".

I think what you'll find is that the Fender Rumble 100 combo will carry the day all by itself. Look back to about page 38 or so for some posts with photos from Lynch using a Rumble 100 combo in a country band with both electric bass and double bass violin.

Bi-Amped bass rigs used to be of interest in the 1980's or so. I had a friend that used a Rane parametric EQ for his front end. Then a crossover into a Crown stereo power amp. He used a Cerwin-Vega 118 cab as his sub woof and a Marshall 4x12 for his top end. It worked. I played an all tube 200 watt Fender Studio Bass 1x15 combo that sounded much better. He said so too. "Damn man that amp is killer!"

In the end man, do what you like. ;)

Clark Westfield has number 11 and
Gougedeye has number twelve.

A very merry welcome to you both! :D

Actually.. I've had a Fender "Rumble 350" Combo amp for 4 years. Never had one issue with it, and it will definitely power the stage of any club or medium stage. Putting out 370 Watts peak.. I love it! (I'll take a number if ya got one!)

Indeed my friend!! I rarely use my 610's unless touring anymore!
Thank Ya!

I just got another back order email from HC. Grrrrrr! I hope Fender ramps up production!!
I just called Fender, and the next shipment is due to arrive August 12th. Fender's facility in Indonesia, where the Rumble combos are made, is working at full capacity. Fender's popular Champion line of guitar amps are also manufactured there.

Sweetwater has Rumble 200's in stock.
