That is exactly what I use. It is great for that. Excellent tone and more than enough volume even without an extension cab.Ok Ive Owned a lot of amps, I don't have the money or things I used to, that being said, Im looking at a Fender Rumble 500 V3 3 amp. How do they take gigging in the Bar Scene?
Me too, and I see no reason to waitAs a future (not so distant, I hope...) Rumbler, I find this very encouraging.

Actually, you are now obligated to place your order.Wow, I get to be an "honorary" member before being an official one! This is almost as good as receiving an honorary doctorate.![]()
I like the way you think @michael_t, but I don't think Rumble Club membership is quite that prestigious... or maybe it is!Wow, I get to be an "honorary" member before being an official one! This is almost as good as receiving an honorary doctorate.![]()

No, not at all. We have two other honorary Rumble Club members. They haven't been around in a long time. The first is a young man from Argentina. I think he was 17 at the time and just couldn't afford a Fender Rumble. The second is a gentleman from Greece. Remember the financial upheaval there? As much as he wanted a Fender Rumble it was just impossible.Actually, you are now obligated to place your order.
just a joke. or a gentle nudge.I knew that was coming...![]()
From now on I'll be addressing you as Dr. Fender.![]()

Got an audition Thurs. so I'll be able to hear my 500 and two 112's with a full band.
Size, weight, and especially OCD cabinet matching are not concerns, they're priorities.Yes, and it's a closer match than I had at first thought. I am always impressed by just how deep the Eminence neo 12's can go. They sound pretty good together even at low personal practice volume. You can actually feel the difference in power and headroom going from 140 watts to the full 200. In adding the 112 there is a readily apparent 3+dB boost in SPL at the very same volume settings. Plus moving more air with greater overall dispersion. I can see where adding the V3 112 would be a good sonic match. Still if size; weight, and OCD cabinet matching aren't concerns, I'd opt for the V3 115.

a gentle nudge.
