Fender Rumble Club

Well, I think I have a problem with my 100. Last night was band practice and I was using it. It was doing quite well. We played for about an hour and took a break. When we came back, I had very low volume. The master has been at 1. I turned it up to 3 and then to 4:30 and still not enough volume. Gain was about 9:30. I turned it off for a few seconds and back on. I got some volume back, but not much. What I got faded fairly fast.
Anybody have a clue?
That's a trip to your Fender Authorized Service Center for sure. Good thing you're under warranty.

Yes, you are under warranty. The Fender 5 year warranty is transferable, and your used purchase from Guitar Center gives you an official sales receipt that is the guaranty of said transfer. Even if you didn't save it, you can get another one printed.
Oh, thanks. I didn't know that.
I didn't mention this was the second time this happened. I'm assuming it is a thermal problem as it gets worse over time. I don't turn my amp off during breaks, I just roll the volume on my bass all the way off. Maybe that is a mistake, but I come from the school of thought that turning an electric device on is when it gets its hardest jolt and is most likely to fail.

I like to play here and there throughout the day and often leave my Rumble 200 on all day and sometimes for several days and nights in a row with no ill effects. I leave a bass plugged in and both gain & master volume up about 9-10 o'clock.

I used to do the same thing with my Rumble 75 without any issue. It's 5+ years old.

I turn on my Rumble 350 for soundcheck and leave it on for the duration of the gig or jam until it's time to pack up.

Yeeeup.. get another amp! :roflmao:

The Rumble sounds awesome--I almost forgot. Took a 2 week break from playing while moving. I now have a dedicated studio and a freakin' kick ass music venue on the river. The Rumble sounds stupendous in my studio.
Which River? So you own a new studio! KUDOS! Rehearsal? Recording? Or Both? And a new music venue?! Wow! I'm going to have to drive down for a visit.

Demeries Creek near Savannah. The studio is for rehearsal. However--as soon as I get my home in Stuart, Fl sold I will purchase some good recording equipment to replace the crap I have right now. The music venue I am going to use for house shows done on a secret network temporarily. I am adjacent to the DNR (department of natural Resources) and don't know if I will get noise complaints or not. I will try it for a while and if no complaints I will be more open about it. If you go to Google and check out the Demeries Creek public boat ramp--the dock on the left is mine--the building is partially visible above the dock behind the big oak.

WOW! Just wow! Also just remembered that you are a lawyer, so you know all the ins 'n' outs of that type of business operation. Wishing you the best future in your endeavors. You really know how to  Rumble On!

I am stoked. The county has no noise ordnance. They can only legally gig me on "Breach of the Peace." It would have to be in context of "tumultuous" activity. So--if no mosh pits observed not much can be done. However, it is best to have a good relationship with all. If I piss the DNR off they could hassle me about my boats and docks. So, I will try to keep things early hour and go slow.

The DNR Rangers know me and trust me--and I want to keep it that way.
