Fender Rumble Club

I was wondering if anyone knew the weight of the rumble 500 ? I have decided that in the new year , this will be my save to buy item . I have a few jobs coming off early in the new year so it shouldnt take long . The combo I have just now weighs in at around 64ibs and although its not unmovable for me , its still a pain , especially some days due to arthritis. Ive read somewhere that the rumbles are pretty light in weight .

Fender doesn't show that on their website--but the promocard I got with my Rumble 40 said it was 30 something pounds-I think it was 38--but it is lighter than what you have

According to the Fender website, it weighs 36.5 pounds. But it sounds a lot bigger.

a 200 would be overkill for my purposes--but if I gigged a 200 or 500 would certainly be considered.

Hmm when I looked up the Rumble series before I got mine I couldn't find he weight--maybe it's because it sends me to a Canadian page.

The amp Im playing through just now is just shy of 200 watts , I really want more clean headroon for gigs . The 180 does the job but it would be nice to know , if I need to push it then I could . Plus the weight thing is important to me .

The amp Im playing through just now is just shy of 200 watts , I really want more clean headroon for gigs . The 180 does the job but it would be nice to know , if I need to push it then I could . Plus the weight thing is important to me .

Of course, the Rumble 200 alone is 140 watts into 8 ohms. To get the full 200 watts you need to add another 8 ohm cab, like the Rumble 115. You probably know all that, just saying.

And the Rumble 100 is 22 lbs! People are always amazed at the light weight when they help carry my gear. I always find it funny when they heave it off the ground (knowing bass amps are heavy) and the Rumble flies into the air.

I used to haul 2x10's, 2x12's and a head. Lugging up stairs was ridiculous when I think about it. The 2x10 is probably 45 lbs itself.

Hope everyone's Fender Friday went okay. @Steadfast, I drank a Blue Moon or 2 or 10 for you. If there's anything I can do to help, let me know. I haven't personally been through similar situations, but I do know a few folks that have (if it's what I think it is).

I went through our setlist twice tonight. Had to be a little quiet with it tonight as I have guests staying the night for family stuff tomorrow. Almost doesn't feel fair to the gear to have to roll the volume off so much.

It's somewhere between 36 and 37 lbs with the power cord.
