Well, at least the Rumble 500 is light enough that I can pick it up and toss it over my head if I ever need a single use weapon.
And about the same price as a used Glock 9mm semi-automatic. The Fender Rumble is far more difficult to replace, but no background check!

Long story short, it's AMAZING. Perfect for playing at bars. It has great tone and is SO light. I definitely recommend it.

Not anytime soon, I don't think, as the 500 was just announced in January at Winter NAMM 2014 and have only been available for 90 days or so.

I'm looking for a 100w in the UK, but most websites are telling me they're only going to be available in early October. Does anyone know if anywhere will have them in sooner (given I haven't already ordered one)? Thanks

Try this lot, (my local shop+free delivery) say they can ship one between 1-10 days. I finally had some time to jam with the band and inspect the cabinet.
The cabinet is lined with sound material, so the only modification needed is to dust it periodiocly.
The sound and volume from this setup is amazing; very happy I went with the Rumble instead of the Portaflex, which I was on the fence for for almost a year.
