F.M.I.C. is just making their warranty uniform across the board. The rest of the world got a two year warranty, and the USA got five. Now everyone gets the same.
Does this mean that purchases prior to January 1/17 are no longer under the 5 year warranty, and are no longer transferable?
Back a bit ago when i contacted fender about my SB300, they said that they wouldn't honor the warranty due my buying it from GC.. though it was used.. the premise was that it was supposed be transferable to my understanding.. it is deff younger than 5 years old too.. i like fender amps.. but i don't like the company! That is my feelings..

I didn't use mine last night because there was back line, and I just put my 200 on top of the bottom 115 cab that was there.
That's just because it needs an original purchase receipt, if it was bought at guitar center they may be able to look it up, but only if they know how to search by serial # rather than name. The issue is the average person trading in an amp and the average guitar center employee are both not going to think about or care about the transferable warranty, so having the original receipt included in the trade in, wasn't going to happen, and if it did, it would have gotten lost in a drawer or thrown out "why do we need this old sweetwater receipt?" It is a shame and a waste of perfectly good warranty. Also, GC is trying to upsell their "performance guarantees" so it is not in their best interest to keep transferable fender warranties intact.
Glad I got mine in the old days, but it makes me Leary about buying a new one. Now the thing for savvy Rumblers to do is to search out responsible saavy sellers who still have a receipt dated prior to 1/1/17
No.. the guy on the phone said, "we won't cover it when it is sold from a second hand vender".. that is what he said.. so according to that guy, even if i had the original, they didn't have the intent of honoring it.. that is the impression that was given to me.. that day..
That means your receipt saying " used fender rumble" was not a valid warranty receipt. Had the original receipt been shown, you would have been in business.

In the video they mention "4 bolt, micro tilt neck" Where is the micro tilt? I remember the older models having a adjustment bolt in the neck pocket called "micro-tilt adjustment" but I don't see that here. Am I missing something?
I really dig that green though.
It's on Fender American Professional guitars, but not bass guitars. On basses, it is really better to shim up your neck at a half a degree or one degree of tilt if necessary. Neither one of my American made Fender basses (1976 & 2012) have ever required a shim.
