Oddly enough, that's how I got my Rumble 500c. My long time friend (and guitarist) bought it for me on the recommendation of a local music store employee he knows. Those guys aren't ALL bad! I was in need of a beefier amp than my puny home practice amp and a little 100-watt thing he owned. I've been thanking him for it ever since. (Well, I did pay for it really. I'd have likely gone Peavey or Carvin myself). But the perspective of a (good) music store guy who can play them all is really valuable. As much as I absolutely LOVE my Rumble, I'm not going to say it's the best amp ever built. If I had unlimited funds, or even made my living playing bass rather than just as a hobby, I might have another opinion. But throw in the price/benefit value equation and it may well be the best amps ever built. I've no doubt the 25 is similar.
(I keep trying to justify buying a 2x10 fender extension, but dammit I just haven't ever NEEDED it yet! And my band is LOUD.)
