Value per driver wise, the 410 is less per speaker, since it is only $50 more.

But there are so many reasons why the 210 is a better match for the 500. The cabinet design and speaker arrangements of the 210 are not subjective to the same mid dispersion killing comb filtering of the traditional 410 design. The 210 has more cab volume per driver, and the 210 drivers handle a little more power, being a 350w cab 175w drivers vs 125w drivers in the 410. Also, many who have compared feel that the 210 is more solid on the lows as well. Plus it is smaller and lighter, and the rig looks real cool with matching cab dimensions.

The 210 is a gem.

Agree on the 210. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I just "downsized" from the 410 to the 210 with the 500 head. 210 sounds tighter, punchier, thumpier (is that a word?), and even more portable. Its a win all the way around!

I'm planning on running guitar through the head into the speakers.
I think we have run a lot of things through our rumbles to great success. When I plug a guitar into my Rumble it sounds more like a jazz guitar to me, but then I didn't turn it up too loud. I believe you could play a kazoo into a germanium fuzzbox through a Rumble amp and it would sound fantastic.
