It made me start thinking about a used 200 head for practice, and of course more power to the rig, I could run the 200c on the bottom with the head powering the 112 on the top and the 200 in powered cab mode. 280w plus the ability to add 2 more cabs. Would rather have a 200+112 as my smallest rig, than a rumble40, which is more than I want to have around for just a headphone amp. Now I just need the money and one for sale for the right price with a few years left on the pre 2017 warranty, and that carry bag too. I would have to sell something or have paid gigs start to pick up. Right now I am gigging without a backup too, so adding a 200 head (or 500 if the price was right) makes sense to me. Future goals...

I was in my local Harbor Freight yesterday and I asked one of the employees about the smell of the place. He said some of it is from the Rubber products especially the tire chocks. He said a lot of it was from the tarps and also the anti-rust solvents on the metal wares.

I couldn't imagine working there.

I use harbor freight tarps and once they leave the store, they don't seem to take much of that smell with them

Cardio Day at the Salem VA hospital went exceedingly well this afternoon. EKG shows a slight arrhythmia still, but much better than last year. New echocardiogram also excellent with no evidence of atrial fibrillation at all!

My 350 has treated me well for the past 6 years. I blew both speakers though and replaced them with Eminence speakers which made it sound even better! But it's time to move forward, I just pulled the trigger on a v3 Rumble 500 combo! Will be getting the extension 210 after I sell this bad boy...

That's a nice photograph. Well-lighted and easy on the eyes too. I bet your stack gets a lot of attention sonic-wise as well.

Practice tonight went awesome. I felt my arm hairs vibrating. I'm glad I got the 500. I'm surprised how much more low end this thing puts out for being a 210 just as my 350 is. I believe I need a number? Is that how this goes?

Here is a crazy idea out loud...

I really like the way the stacked rumble combo and extension cabinet look, but I can't think of any possible reason that would warrant me buying the extension cab, except for the simple reason that it looks great. I have various PA rigs, so there is no way to justify spending the cash on the second cab except for the awesome looks.

So, here is the crazy idea...

If I could find the same grill cloth as the rumble, I am thinking that I could have a matching dummy cab made. The front panel would actually be on hidden hinges and open like a door. Inside I would either have drawers or shelves installed.

This would make for an excellent looking amp stand, while at the same time giving me storage space for all my cables, pedals etc.

What do you guys think? Silly idea? Would it be possible to find the matching grille cloth?

Find the right size mini refrigerator and dress the door as a Rumble front. Fill it full of beer.

Use that one at home and your idea at gigs !

So--I played this outdoor gig where the wind was howling Friday night on the Savannah Harbor at the Westin.

I played sax and Chicago Tom played his P bass on a Rumble 200C. He was rocking. He sounded soooo good.
