Fender Rumble Club

Yes, a BIG fan and commit Larceny quite often when I can afford the $25/750ml bottle. It is a wheated bourbon. I like it better than Makers Mark (also wheated and more expensive).

Dang, $25!? It goes for quite a bit more around here.
I do agree that Maker's is overpriced. (Their "46" is even more overpriced.)

The wheated bourbons are nice changes of pace from the usual corn/rye options.

Has anyone matched the cabs 210 and 112? Do they pair well together? Do they have similar sensitivity (and so be relatively the same volume?) I have a 112 and am debating getting a second 112 or a 210 instead since it'd physically stack well.
As far as I know, they should work well together, you'd have to try them to find out. The Rumble 200 combo does well with the Rumble 112, and the Rumble 500 combo does well with the Rumble 115. All the Rumble cabinets were designed to play well together right from the start. It defys the anti-mixed driver gestapo, but go right ahead and listen for yourself.

It never ceases to amaze me how opinionated people on TB are about the the Fender Rumble vs. expensive amps--YET THEY NEVER PLAYED THROUGH NOR HEARD ONE IN PERSON.

When a person who owns one chimes in---they are ignored.

Amazing.
Were I playing $5,000 bass through a $5,000 amp, I wouldn't want to admit the other guy's $600 bass and $600 amp sounded better either.

The amount of seething anti-Fender hatred and accompanying hate speech & bashing is indeed astounding. If you were to say such against other popular brands you would receive a warning or be banned outright.

I get that--but why try to convince seekers to stay away from Rumbles??????
Because if you buy a Fender Rumble you won't be buying: GK; Hartke, ampeg, ect. Not only that Fender Rumble buyers tend to buy more Fender Rumbles. Then they write about how happy they are and about how much better their Rumbles sound than: GK; Hartke, ampeg, ect. I guess that cheeses some people off. ;)

I will give an example--I owned a Mercedes S500 and a Cadillac DeVille of the same year. The Mercedes fell apart in 5 years and I still have that Cadillac 15 years later.

People still tell me the Mercedes is far superior---while riding in my pristine 2001 Caddi. I just want to rip my head off, crap in it, and kick it at them.

Edit: The S500 was 80K and the Caddi 40K. The cheaper but quality product is far superior in every way.

Thursday.

My 'Ignored Member' list is quite long and I see quite a few of them have jumped on the Rumble bashing bandwagon. To them it's a sport. I don't bother to read as it's a waste of time. However if you read something that is report worthy do hit the report tab as outright brand bashing is simply not allowed and certain of my ignored members that have commented on that thread have been temporarily banned in the past.
