I'm trying to figure out how someone spills a bear--I mean most of us have probably spilled beer, but a bear?

I think that old story of Daniel Boone carving "dboone cilled a bar in the year 1760" into a tree was really "dboone SPILLED a BEER here in 1760". Much more likely.

All readily available gentlemen, and yes, you'll have to pay more.

Quite a bit more in fact. Starting at $800 for the Bassman 500 and going up to $1,800 for the Super Bassman. Now put up, or shut up. Any more petty gripes? No? I didn't think so.

I hate push button switches. Why can't they use toggle switches.

I don't like push button switches either. Especially the tiny square ones.

With the exception of power and stand by, every switch on an amplifier should be foot switchable in my opinion. Ground lift, and all.

Well--I bought a Vox VTX150 pro with the VC-12 pedal board to compliment my Rumble 500 combo. After successfully recording my Frankenstein rig and getting some professional colleagues to listen and critic I got major thumbs-up.

The only suggestion I got at this time would be to get a real beast Vox guitar amp to tube-up my guitar sound and a VC-12 pedal to lighten my work load with the pedal switch work I am currently doing.

The bass tone they say is perfect. This Vox amp is 150W with the ability to drive another 150W cab. I may end up adding a ruble 210 bass cab if things take off.

I can tell you 3 things you missed:

1) if you own a Rumble you are automatically a Fender "fanboy."

2) You can only get gigs if you use GK amps.

3) You can only get chicks if you use GK amps.

Pretty much everything else is the same. How are you?

Played my first gig last Saturday eve with the full rig (500 with 210 extension cab) and my band mates were very complimentary. We're booked pretty much every other weekend into September so no, having a GK to get gigs isn't necessarily a requirement.
