^^^So True!^^^ The stock Eminence 15 in the Rumble 200 combo and also the Rumble 115 cabinet (identical driver) is so very good I'd never even consider replacing them with some other driver. no matter how much more expensive it might be. This is a perfect example of where more expensive isn't better. The answer is the rumble 200, no speaker upgrade necessary
I still miss my PAS 15 with the swr logo dome in the original son of bertha that got stolen. Had I not been planning to try it with the rumble 200 for the ultimate 2x15 rig, it would have still been safe in storage when I got my van broken into.^^^So True!^^^ The stock Eminence 15 in the Rumble 200 combo and also the Rumble 115 cabinet is so very good I'd never even consider replacing them with some other driver.
One of the most important posts (to me anyway) lately needs a bump. IIRC, you also padded the guts. I'm waffling between the Basslite and the highly recommended DeltaLite. I want to be able to run the 40 well past the half volume point without undesirable clipping. Have you been able to crank that puppy with the Basslite installed?
I'll bet it cranks like a Harley-Davidson on Ether! Rumbles punch way above their weight class. Your Rumble 40 should be a Welter Weight Champion! Boo-Yaa!I haven't been able to crank it up yet

If you haven't already, check US Speaker's website...they have a wide selection of Eminence products. Got my Deltalite 2512 from them. One of the most important posts (to me anyway) lately needs a bump. Finding a reseller that has the full Eminence line hasn't been easy so it seems like I'd want to go direct through their website.
Prices are the same aren't they? Just checked. Yes they are the same and both offer free UPS ground. If you haven't already, check US Speaker's website...they have a wide selection of Eminence products. Got my Deltalite 2512 from them.
Have used them several times for purchasing Eminence products; excellent results and service each time. They also carry the Faital Pro line of bass speakers.Prices are the same aren't they? Just checked. Yes they are the same and both offer free UPS ground.
Yeah, but why would anyone want to buy them? They also carry the Faital Pro line of bass speakers.
Point taken! Eminence is a much better upgrade match for most Rumbles, especially the V3 series.Yeah, but why would anyone want to buy them?![]()

I just returned my Markbass Little Mark III head because it came new with very scratchy pots and distortion when the treble is turned up. The pots are sealed and couldn't be serviced easy by GC staff.
So! I returned it w/in the 45-day period, and ordered a Rumble V3 500 head.I've got the 112 cabinet and am probably going to order the 210 soon to compare the sound.
If I can get these tones I will be seriously happy.

Take a look at having two 210's stacked vertically vs a 410....great small club vs large flexibility, and with both you get the full 500 watts.Rumbler #131 getting back in with a Rumble 500 head, and either a Rumble 115, or 410. Have you all been doing with either cab?

The only problem with your rig is the mismatch in power the speakers will see. Since both cabs are 8 Ω, they will each receive 50% of the power or 250 watts. You combo has 2 speakers, so each of them will see 25% of the total power or 125 watts. You 4x10 can is still only getting 50%, so each of the speakers there are getting 12.5 Ω or 62.5 watts.I have a 500 combo and recently got the 410 cab. I got that instead of the 210 cab because I could get 2 more speakers for only $100 more. Plus I have a rack mount rig I wanted a 410 for so I could have more options.
That said, the 500c and the 410 sound great together at low and high volumes to me. The 500c sounds pretty good by itself, but it is just so much more full with the cab. The only issue I have with the 500c + 410 cab is aesthetic. The widths are off if you stack them. You can make the widths work if you put the 500c on its side but then the logos don't match. I'm considering making a custom grill for them (when I get free time). I've not tried the 115.
EDIT: Oops, I thought you got the 500 combo then I re-read the post and saw it was the head. I'll second the idea of getting two 210s in order to get the full 500 watts. But either way, with w Rumble head pushing 4 10 inch spearkers, you've gotta have a great sound regardless of setup.

All that really means is your combo will sound louder than the 4x10.
I wonder how the overall volume would compare between a 500C+500 setup (500W going into 4 speakers) and a 500C+410 setup pushing 500W into 6 speakers so more surface area (although 4 speakers get a bit less power than the other 2).The only problem with your rig is the mismatch in power the speakers will see.
