Fender Rumble Club

Happy Fender Friday! :woot:

It surely is for me, I just bought that very head that showed up today. :) Now if my 112 rumble cab would hurry up and get here also...

Well, if it lessens his transgression, he did pass on the Rumble 500 head to another member to assist me in more powerful shaking of the earth and heavens...
That's pretty good on USPS's part. If I did the math right they got it to you right at 42 hours after I handed it to them.

How did the box look ? It didn't have any dents or tears in it when I handed it to him them. Did it look like they banged it around much ?

I'm always nervous when I get something delivered via FedEx or UPS. More often than not, the box is dented up.

I sold my Rumble 500 head but I have retained my two Rumble V3 112's and have no intention of replacing them.

Does that put me in Rumble purgatory or am I doomed to the Abyss ?
I am very glad to see that you sold it. I had been looking at your listing every few days, very tempted to buy it.... not that I needed it, but "just in case" I hit a situation where the 200 would not cut it. Came very close to doing it a few times, but I know it would have just sat there unused. So now my drama is removed thanks to you selling it. It was a good price, though. Heck of a deal for like new 500 head.

The Fender Rumble DI works really well. Been recording the last 2 evenings. Very pleased.

Oddly--I got a buttload of friend requests out of nowhere from Country musicians and Country singers from all over the U.S. today on Facebook. What gives????

I have never played in a Country band. Not sure where the connection came from. Really weird.

Yes it was actually a better deal than a brand new one because it's issue free and has nearly two years more warranty than a brand new one purchased after January 1st 2017, not to mention less cost.

I had marked the ad no longer available for a few days because I thought I might want to keep it in case I needed a ton of Headroom. I could just run my out into the Rumble effects return and hook my cabs up to the Rumble. The tube amp I bought has a built-in dummy load and does not require a speaker load while powered up.

But, I love the other head so much that I'm ordering a second one while they have a rebate going on so I had to flip some gear. Sold the Rumble 500, my beloved '82 Electra x270 Powered EQ solid body electric guitar, and I'm also going to sell my '89 Peavey Foundation as well. The Peavey is on my local Craigslist. I would list it here on TB but I don't have a case for it. No biggie it will sell. The Rumble and the Electra sales got me the money I need anyhow.

I have two of the Rumble V3 112's. Love them ! I think you will too and wind is up ordering a second one :)
It may happen eventually. For now the places that I may end up playing will be small enough that a single 112 cab should be fine. Plus, this will allow me to upgrade if need be.

Nope looked great, no sign of damage or abuse. It looked like they babied it.

Good deal then.

Seems like USPS Priority always gets there a day ahead of their original projected delivery date.

Rock on !

Thankfully now the weekend is here, I can spend some time with my Rumble 200 combo :hyper:.

Hey Shawn. I'm really love playing through the Rumble 500C. I'm getting a Am. Pro. Fretless, can't wait to play it through it also. The Rumble series amps have really become working amps, above and beyond.
