Fender Rumble Studio 40 owners tell me about the amp...

I'm the current owner of a Rumble 500 V3 210 combo and REALLY like it. Not playing with a band currently (also had the 210 extension cab but sold it). Recently watched a video demo'ing the Rumble 40 Studio. Looks like a KILLER amp if you want something to noodle with at home that has a ton of classic tones. Would be great to have a B-15 sound at the touch of a button and for a fraction of the price of thermal deal, and this amp seems like it would be great for recording.

For those of you that have owned or tried this amp, is it a keeper?

I, too, am a current owner of a Rumble 500 V3 210 combo and REALLY like it. I can't imagine a better combination of tone and power at such a reasonable price.

I am also an owner of Fender's first bass modeling amp, the B-DEC 30, for about the last 10 years. I find it's several amp models, tuner, looper and built-in backing tracks to be not only fun, but instructional, too. I often considered upgrading to the Bronco 40, until it was discontinued, but the B-DEC left little to be desired.

That said, I'm now quite intrigued with the Rumble Stage & Studio modeling features that are much more advanced than my B-DEC. And the wifi and Bluetooth facilities that allow software updates and remote control by the phone or tablet Tone App make these amps very attractive to me! How long can I resist the temptation? I don't know, but it's getting more difficult all the time!

Well, I resisted for over a year since first reading about the Stage and Studio amps. But, I gave in last week and am SO glad I did. I'm loving my Rumble Studio 40!

I just bought one from Guitar Center. It was the floor model but without asking they offered my a 2 year protection plan, which is great because my main concern was the screen dying and then the amp being useless. This amp is amazing in so many ways. I’m gonna save up and see if they release something between the 40w and 800w Stage amp. If not, I’ll buy the 800mStage as well. Top notch. I only wish all the buttons were back lit all the time, that there was a way of making the gain knob non programable as well, and that there was modeling bypass option that allowed you to use the amp as straight rumble without the screen.

Anyways, great amp. Makes my JazzBass with Flats sound monstrous in so many ways.
