I am looking at 5 string Jazz style basses and need some guidance.
I have read about the new Fender Am Deluxe necks having a flatter type neck profile then previous years, somewhat like the Nordstrand neck. I have tried a Nordy and did not care for that neck, so is this an accurate comparison?
For those who have been around this block, how does a Sadowsky 5 neck compare? I like more a 'C' shape, don't mind a little more meat there. I have the impression they are a fuller profile than some other brands. I loved the Lakland US neck but not the 35" scale.
I've never had my hands on these, and a field trip to Chicago is not in the cards anytime soon. Any tidbits, crumbs or revelations appreciated!
