I got one last week and it's amazing...

The new fender site does not have all models listed (weirdly). For an example, they don't have the fender jazz american deluxe model in 5 strings, and we all know it is still in production.

I would be surprised to hear SBs are discontinued. They just released them. Probably they do not produce large numbers of them and are between production runs. I could be wrong but it does seem likely.

nope, the neck is wide but you can easily reach everything you want!
(maybe because of the compound radius/asymmetrical neck)

Hope they are not gone - I was hoping to get one used at some point - personally I think they priced them too high. Maybe they'll do a MIM Version that I can afford.
