Thanks for that …

Jim Mouradian passed a couple of years ago and his son now does the company and I guess there was one 5 string cs-74 made and there were less than 100 of the cs-74 basses made and they might be making some more … I like the Mouradians, except for the headstock

Similarly, many would have a difficult time guessing that this signature g*itar from the Gibson Custom Shop was a tribute to Robbie Krieger, who played SGs onstage with The Doors (but used a mid-fifties Les Paul for slide and studio overdubs).

Almost looks like a reverse Neil Young sig, minus the Bigsby...

If fender Squier will make a stupid Mike dirnt p bass then there is no reason why they shouldn't have a Chris Squire signature bass. They have so many artist line basses already why not one for a man who inspired a whole new way to play the instrument?

I loathe Green Day but it makes sense to me. They have sold way more albums than Yes and Dirnt has always played a P bass. I didn't even know Squire played anything other than a Ric until I read this thread.

Ya … I remember the videos for Rush moving Pictures and he would record a track with the jazz and use the Rick for the video and then he would record a track with the Rick and use the jazz for the video ...
...and then he’d forget which one was which in later interviews....

He was better known for his Jazz Bass, though. I even saw him use it when I saw Yes in 2013. :)

Besides, the Tele Bass is tainted with Vincent Gallo's DNA (not his real name, BTW), who'd want to have anything to do with that?
I'm a bit late to the party but can you tell me what your beef with VG is, please? Personally, I thought there was no need for that comment.
