Fender Sidekick Bass 30w any good?

Someone is selling for $80 and I'm considering getting it for my home practice amp.

If you are talking about the 30w 1x15 sidekick, I had one for a practice amp some years ago. I liked it fine for that purpose. Kinda large for a small practice amp though, but sounded good and held up for years.

I gave it away to a local kid starting out on bass.

does anyone but me find it funny that they call the guitar pracitice amps Frontman, and the bass - Sidekick?
