Fender Standard P Pickups

    I have a Fender American P from 2011. Did they put custom shops towards the end of 2011, or just 2012?

    I think they started in 2012.

    The 2011 pickup has pole pieces flush with the pickup cover. The 2012 CS pickup has raised pole pieces.
