The truly dead dig their own graves....skippy.
sorry to have offended you  ...that's just my way of saying "i know"....lighten up will ya.....but really, just saying "Your youth is a dead giveaway of your ignorance." thats just the most stupid thing you could of said....how the hell am i ignorant?...lighten up....no need to be so damn tense about these things.....gets boring if everyone pretends to be happy, may as well listen to some mind numbing pop

damn that looks nice...either its a big instrument, or you're a small fella, from that angle :smug:
Perhaps it's the angle... it fits me well. Like I said, having it as my only instrument trying to play (back then) Rush, Clash, and Dead covers, it really didn't give me the sound I wanted, so I modded it with the jazz pup. Sometimes I regret it, but the sound is so much better and more versatile. It's definitely a war horse! The finish is cracked and there are dings all over it, but it's like a timex...takes a licking and keeps on ticking! :D

it looks cool though...id love to get one, i can get a kinda close tone from my kubicki, but it doesn hit the spot, though i love the joe bardens in my kubicki and sounds great for everything else, old school (60's/70's) soul n rnb it just doesnt fit the bill..im just assuming the guy from cake uses one on the recordings, cos he uses one in the film clips, and it sounds awesome

i understand what you're saying...but im not looking for a new main, theres no way ill find a new main bass....just for those songs here and there, i did play a single coil one, in my first post, and loved it, action was a bit high for my liking but it sounded great, little bright, but it felt great, nice and slabby

no practise amps here...got the 1x15 and 4x10 stack now :D

jesus dude.....get over it..all i ment was i hate people who say things just to make othe people happy..but apparently the truth hurts on here
Truth: You're rude and arrogant and you insulted someone who went out of their way to attempt to help you. If someone helps you, you say thank you. Not "no xxxx shirlock."

Nothing anyone has posted should have warranted a response like that, and on top of it to be defensive about being a weenie and bring up US politics...

By the way, you haven't mentioned Stu Hamm in this thread...yet.

Yeah, I also like those basses. In Bass Player there is a little article about Sting's basses that he is using now - I believe a Fender P 57 and a Fender P 55. Both of these basses have that telecaster style head stock. In any case, he removed the pickguard on one and the bridge covers and the PUP cover. I love the looks of them.
