You had me until you said that; now I can't take your comment seriously anymore. You're really of the, "Well, more people recorded with this brand, so therefore this brand must be the best" school of thought? Wow.

Hummmmmmmmm.....Really? You assumed i am one of those type's who say because one brand recorded more its the best but thats not how i feel.
He was dissing Fenders and four string players... Right? In my statement i said there will be more Top music produced on Fender's and 4 strings than any fancy, custom, multi stringed basses.
I am pretty sure most of this is true since Fender was and is a stable bass in studio's worldwide and in early bass years really all that were used on recordings. Also they only had 4 strings.
I Never said this makes Fenders or 4 strings better. I said it was and still is the way it has been done and in allot of way's still is. Any knob head should of seen that
