Fender Tuning Gear Screw

Internet searches send me to plenty of listings to buy a set of tuners, but what I really need is just the screw that goes through the pinion gear into the tuning post. I’ve got a MIM P bass with tuning machines that a prior owner must’ve went hammer and tongs on, and two screw heads are almost totally gouged out. If I gotta buy new tuners I will, but it seems a waste. Anybody know a source for the screws or at least what size/etc? Thanks!

I don't know the size, but pull one and take it with you to Ace, Home Depot, Lowes, or the like; they can tell you AND sell you a replacement. The replacement might not have the correct plating or the same head, but in that case you can just replace all of the screws so they at least match. Or you can buy new tuning machines. $5 to get it operational or $100 to get it restored; your choice.
