Funnily enough it sounds perfectly ok in Mrevol's video. As balanced as the other basses.
P bass sounds better, I'd choose that one in the studio. It might fit your playing style better.
However, I'd play with the tone knobs on the Spector. It sounds like the treble knob needs to come down a lot.
