Some of you guys have seen me around asking about the Prophecy as well as P/J config basses. In my searching, I stumbled upon the Zone which looks like Fender's more recent version of the Prophecy. Is there a big difference between the Zone and Prophecy? Is the Zone worth the bother? As always, thanks a bunch!

  2. I don't really like the scaled down Fenders, they look like a P-bass for kids.

Go for the Prophecy, they've got a more original look (a bit like a soundgear) and it's what the guy out of Mastodon plays :bassist:

    Good luck finding one tho!

Actually, the only reason I know of the Prophecy is because of Mastodon :p ! And that is actually the kind of sound I'm looking for. Anyway, thanks for your input. It is much appreciated.
