FENDERBIRD?

I Love Tbird looks but love Pbass sound. I was wondering if its possible to simply swap the neck pickup and replace it with a Pbass pickup. I would of course have to accommodate space for the bigger Pbass pickup. I would leave the normal Tbird bridge pickup and have something of T/P set up. I would leave everything else the same including the pots.
I don't know much about the actual electronics of a the bass so I wanted to know if what I'm saying is possible to do and if its as easy as it sounds?
I just bought a Limited edition white Tbird!!

-Thanks in advance :bassist:

I really cannot see how swapping the neck pickup for a p pickup will give you a p bass sound. My neck pickup is very bassy and no where close to a p sound to my ears lol. Please dont do this to a original tbird please:crying: epiphone maybe lol.

I saw Keith Urban in concert here in Nashville last month and I noticed that his bass player was playing a T-bird with a p-bass pickup in the neck position. No details, but it is apparently possible.
