Hi there,
I have a couple of Fernandes Atlas basses from possibly late 90's or early 2000's (MIJ). One of them has the truss rod cranked all the way clockwise, and even though the neck is pretty straight ,it would benefit from tightening it up a little more but I can't..
Question: Anybody knows what type of truss rod is used on these instruments? Is it possible to unscrew the head, put a nut, and get some more action? I would not do it my self as I don't want to mess it up, but I'm wondering if it could be fixed without separating the fretboard from the neck.
