I have an old Fernandes J-bass that I bought back in like 95-96, defretted in 02-03 and am wanting to buy another fretted neck for it. Its not that I don't like it fretless, but the novelty has kind of wore off on me. Besides that, I've always wanted to swap the rosewood for maple. I found a maple Mighty Mite jazz neck online, and was wondering if anyone here knows whether it'll be a direct replacement. Have any of you swapped the neck on a Fernandes J? I figured this would be the place to look before pulling the trigger lol. I'd hate to order it, only to find the pocket is different or something.

Mightymite necks are nice. There fender specs 2 1/2 inches wide at the heel , removed your neck and measure its heel or neck pocket and compare
