FGN Fujigen Mighty Power bass

reminds me of the old Carvins.

If I am remembering correctly, @Mammoth_Bass has or had an FGN.

She should be able to give you a real world experience rundown.
Thanks for thinking of me @twofingers !!

Yes I had an FGN and regrettably sold it during a strong GAS attack. I love FGNs!!! Excellent fit and finish and great sounding.

Now I need to find another one to buy.....

Hello mates,
I recently discovered the "Mighty Power" bass made by the Japanese brand FGN (Fujigen). I'm definitely in love with it but no way to try it here in Italy, also I can't find any video review on the web. I've been told that their basses are really high level but never had the chance to try one.
Have you ever tried it or do you own FGN basses, in particular this one?
Thanks!

Alberto

Old Blastard's post with photo is the exact same version I have. Awesome, awesome basses - even better than the Fender MIJ E-Series Jazz I once had (also made by Fujigen).

The specs say "22 frets with circle fretting system"
I asked myself what that was and searched for it on their website: Invalid Link Removed

Slightly curved frets are mounted as each string and fret intersect at right angles to minimize the contact surface.
You can obtain accurate pitch, cleaner longer sustain and true harmonics.
*The frets we use aren't special. You can ask your nearest repair shop to hit them from the edge of the fingerboard when refret.

Looks like you’re selling it already on Reverb. What’s the story? Didn’t like it?

You might want to hang onto those Mighty Power Basses, guys. The Mighty Power link on their USA website takes you nowhere and I didn't find even a picture of one on the site. Looks like they might be focused only on the jazz-type basses.

I really hope that's not the case.
I'd really like to get me one of those in the future but now I can't afford one because I already spent a lot on bass gear this last month.
On Thomann it says that they will be available in 7-8 weeks. I hope that they will continue to be produced since there's no other bass with this pickup configuration available in the market that's comercially produced.
